The scene starts with him POV sitting in the doctor’s office. Off screen, he hears his mom and the doctor talking. The therapist insists that Hannah has nothing to worry about, and that she has proven techniques that will work on fixing her patient.
Dr. Christina Carter enters the frame and sits at her desk. Before she has a chance to even introduce herself, he has already made other plans for her to become his mindless slave. He sits a metronome on her desk. Dr. Carter is almost immediately entranced by it. She sits completely still, watching the ticker go side to side, and acknowledging that she is falling deep into a trance. Once she is fully under his control, he orders her to walk like a zombie saying a mantra “ I am deeply mesmerized”. She does this for several moments until he gets bored, and now orders her to cluck like a chicken. Without hesitiation, Dr. Christina Carter follows his command and begins clucking and flapping her wings like a chicken. When he snaps her out of this, Dr. Carter shakes her head and asks, “was I just entranced?” But no sooner does she say this than he snaps her back into action. This time he orders her to sit down and strip, and fondle her own breasts. Dr. Carter does this, and follows several other commands before he instructs her to sit down on the couch next to him.
